Astros

Over the summer, Gramma Patty would take the kids to the library regularly.  They read enough books to earn free tickets to an Astros game.

Go Bees

Finally, Austin was able to play a sport...Soccer! He absolutely loved it and was so upset when the season was over.  Clint was able to be assistant Coach so that made it even more fun! Can't wait til next season.

Victoria Zoo

Look closely behind Mar and Clint
Needless to say, these were the only animals out because of the heat.

Clint and I purchase Zoo memberships to the Houston Zoo every year because we love the zoo. Thereis no better place to go when you bored and its a gorgeous day outside, so a couple of months back we took a trip to the Victoria Zoo.  We hadnt been there is a while and the last time we did go they were working on some new things so we wanted to see if there was anything new.

Rowan is 1

Getting a sneak peak of his birthday cake!

Well, the time has come and gone and my little Rowie is now 16 months old.  He is such a little stinker.  This is definatley my healthiest child.  He is probably about 29 lbs..That is pretty darn big for a 16 month old. He makes us laugh and get into EVERYTHING he is not supposed to.  I don't really remember Marley and Austin being such stinkers, but i guess he has good examples to follow.

School Days

Marleys first day of 1st grade with Mrs. Weinheimer.

Austin's first day of Pre-k at Presbyterian

Dewberry Farms

In October, Austin took a field trip to Dewberry Farms and I got to tag along.  This was my first trip there.  I didnt get to tag along with Marley, so I made sure I was off the day of Austin's trip. We had a really good time there. I was really surprised by all of the attractions they had. The kids took a hayride around the pumpkin patch and the Christmas tree farm. Then got to pick a pumpkin out of the patch.  The walk through lighted pumpkin patch was everyones favorite I think. They had hundreds of "carved" pumpkins lit up, very cool to see. In between the slides, the go carts, the jumping yard and the swings and barrel rides i had myself one tired little boy when we left there.
