Pirate Treasure Hunt at the El Campo Museum

Summer is here in Texas

This weekend we relaxed as much as we could. We now have a backyard of fun for the kids with the trampoline and the swingset. We also got a very small pool but its perfect for them to cool off in, so we had Camden over Sunday and they had a blast all afternoon. From cannon balls to jumping to sliding.

End of Pre-K

Marley finished her first year of school last week. I was prepared with a video camera and my digital, so I get ther get set up and guess what. The battery on the Video camera was dead after Kayla had charged it for two hours. I then pulled out my digital and what do you know..its dead too..so I guess I wasnt as prepared as I thought. Luckily they had someone videoing the whole thing so I just ordered one of theirs. Anyway, the school had a program last Thursday morning. The kids sang and recieved certificates. Next year my little girl will start kindergarten. I cant believe how fast life is happening these days. I only have 10 weeks left until Rowan arrives. Marley will be 6 and Austin will be 4 in November. Clint and I have been together for 12 years this year and married for 5. It hit me recently that Im an adult with my own family, haha...

Last T- Ball Game

This Past Tuesday was Marley's last t-ball game. i can't believe its over already. This season just flew by. She did a great job for her first season, at least I think so. Of course there were moments when she literally picked daisies, danced on the field, sat down while the ball was in motion, lol..she was pretty funny, but she was great. I loved her coaches as well and I hope if they are coaching next year she is on the same team. After the game we had her team party where the girls ate pizza and cupcakes and recieved their trophies. Marley was so excited to get another trophy. She now has like 6 trophies, 5 from dance and 1 from t-ball. Needless to say she is excited for next year..Way to go Ponies!

Our Beach Trip

This past weekend we rented a house at Matagorda beach, but wouldnt you know rain was predicted all weekend. We made it there Friday around 1. It was very windy and cloudy so we were only on the beach for 30 minutes or so before we headed to the pool where sand wouldnt blow in our eyes. Around 8 o clock or so the rain just started coming down. Thank goodness we didnt lose electricity. The next morning we were all up VERY early.. Im talking like 8:00..and it started pouring. It looked like a hurricane outside..what a drag so we cooked breakfast, watched TV, took naps and by 2 o clock the skies were blue and the sun was shining..YAY! so we got to enjoy the rest of the day on the beach and in the pool. The kids had a blast, although walking over the dunes back and forth all day long killed me..Is it August yet?

Swingset/fort

Clint has been very busy lately. He finally decided to get on the ball and build the kids a swingset like he has said he would do since Marley was a baby. She is now going to be 6 and finally has a playset. Its pretty cool. It has a Fort, swings and and twistie slide and even a baby swing for Rowan. I will get a picture of the finished product very soon I promise.

This year for Easter we had saturday with my family and sunday with Clint's, so here are just a few pics of both days. It has been so long since Easter there is no way in heck that I could sit down and tell you the events of our weekend. All I can say is Austin isnt too interested in hunting eggs. He would get an egg, see what was inside and if he liked the candy he would eat it, if not he would set it back down. The kids did get a bunny for easter, which we still have and its name is Bugs. Marley loves it.

T-Ball

Marley started T-Ball this year and of course Austin was ticked because he couldnt play but he still enjoys watching his sister. Him and Camden run around playing their own ball game while she is on the field. Her team is the Ponies and I hope she gets the same team next year becasue I really like them. I had more pictures but for some reason I cant find them on my camera. I think some munchkins were messing around with it and deleted some pictures. As i see now the first picture doesnt even have Marley in it..sorry
