Pumpkin Patch and Prairie Day

Every year El Campo Chamber hosts a pumpkin patch and last Saturday was a great day for it. The weather was great. It was held at the "town square" which I think is a perfect place for it, although it is thisclose to the train trucks, luckily not train came through. They had face painting, a moonwalk, and LOTS of pumpkins to choose from. I absolutely LOVE pumpkins! The smell, the color, the taste..I should grow my own:) Any way the kids had a blast. We went went my Cousin's wife Tessa and their kids Bradley, Ashlynn and Christopher. We ran into Camden and Uncle Elliott and Aunt Kayla and also Harper and Wylder and their mom Aubrey. Afterwards a kind Fall Festival was held this year but it was called Prairie Day since El Campo is the Pearl of the Prairie, HA! They had games, a petting zoo and the kids even got to ride a pony. We met up with Nana, which is my mom, and Brooke and Alexis, which are my nieces. What a day!
Houston Zoo

Every year around this time we take the kids to the Houston Zoo. We started with Marley when she was 1 and have done it yearly since then. We all love it and although nothing ever changes and they dont really have many new animals the excitement is still the same. The Monkeys are always the favorites. One year Clint had a bag of peanuts he was eating and one of the tiny monkeys could hear his bag rustling and came over to the fence/net and stuck his hand through saying he wanted one, so Clint gave it to him and ever since Marley has loved the monkeys. My favorite has always been the Giraffes.
Marley's First Day of Pre-K

September 9th was Marley's first day of Pre-K. She was so ready to go. She woke up early pretty much got herself dressed and was ready to go. Austin of course wanted to tag along cause he wants to do everything "Mawley" does. She goes Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:20 until 12:00 and is classified as an Orange.
